Google’s newest smartphone generation has arrived, and the Google Pixel 11 lineup now gives buyers four different ways to get the company’s latest hardware and Gemini-powered AI features.
Google unveiled the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold on August 12, 2026, during Made by Google.
All four phones are powered by Google’s new Tensor G6 processor and are designed around deeper Gemini Intelligence integration, but their prices, cameras, displays and form factors vary considerably.
The standard Pixel 11 starts at $899, while the lineup stretches all the way to the $1,899 Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
Google Pixel 11 Is the Starting Point
The Pixel 11 is the least expensive phone in Google’s new flagship family, but it still receives many of the generation’s biggest upgrades.
It has a 6.3-inch Actua OLED display with up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness and a 60–120Hz refresh rate.
Google has also reduced the thickness of the Pixel 11 camera bar by 40% compared with the previous generation, giving the phone a flatter profile.
The biggest change may be the camera system.
Pixel 11 now has a triple rear-camera setup that includes a 48MP main camera, 13MP ultrawide and 10.8MP 5x telephoto camera. The telephoto lens supports up to 30x Super Zoom, bringing dedicated long-range zoom capability to the standard model.
Google also says its new main sensor provides substantially better light sensitivity for low-light photography.
Inside, Pixel 11 has 12GB of RAM, starts with 256GB of storage and uses the new Tensor G6 processor.
Battery life is rated at more than 30 hours under Google’s testing, with wired fast charging capable of reaching about 55% in 30 minutes with a compatible charger.
The phone also supports Pixelsnap magnetic wireless charging using the Qi2.2 standard.
You can see the complete specifications on the official Google Pixel 11 page.
Pixel 11 Pro Adds the Premium Features
The Pixel 11 Pro keeps the relatively compact 6.3-inch size but moves up to Google’s brighter Super Actua display, capable of reaching 3,600 nits of peak brightness.
It also uses an LTPO panel capable of dynamically adjusting between 1Hz and 120Hz.
The camera system is a major step up.
Pixel 11 Pro has a 50MP main camera, 48MP ultrawide and 48MP 5x telephoto camera.
Google combines the upgraded sensors with Tensor G6 processing to offer Pro Zoom up to 120x.
The Pro models also introduce a new feature called HiLight.
Instead of requiring users to constantly turn on the display, colored LED lights around the camera flash can communicate certain information while the phone is face down.
For example, HiLight can indicate when Gemini is listening, thinking or responding. Users can also assign different colors to important contacts so they can recognize certain incoming calls without picking up the phone.
Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099.
Pixel 11 Pro XL Is the Big-Screen Option
The Pixel 11 Pro XL shares most of its major capabilities with the regular Pro but increases the display size to 6.8 inches.
That makes it the conventional large-screen choice for someone who wants Google’s strongest cameras and premium features without moving to a foldable phone.
The larger body also allows Google to use a 5,115mAh battery, compared with 4,850mAh in the Pixel 11 Pro.
Charging is faster as well. Google rates the Pro XL for up to 75% charge in approximately 30 minutes when used with an appropriate 45W charger.
Like the smaller Pro, it includes the 50MP main, 48MP ultrawide and 48MP telephoto camera combination, 120x Pro Zoom, Tensor G6 and HiLight.
Pixel 11 Pro XL starts at $1,299.
Google provides a full comparison of the Pro models on its Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL specifications page.
Pixel 11 Pro Fold Takes Google Into Premium Foldable Territory
The fourth phone is considerably different.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is Google’s newest book-style foldable and starts at $1,899.
When closed, it has a 6.5-inch outer display. Opening the device reveals an 8-inch Super Actua Flex inner displaycapable of refreshing between 1Hz and 120Hz.
Google redesigned the Fold to make it almost 10% lighter and approximately 1mm thinner than the previous generation.
Durability is another major focus.
According to Google, a new gearless hinge, reinforced inner display and glass-fiber composite back make the Pixel 11 Pro Fold approximately three times more durable than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold under the company’s testing.
It also carries an IP68 dust- and water-resistance rating.
Pixel 11 Pro Fold uses Tensor G6 with 16GB of RAM and includes a 48MP main camera plus telephoto capability with up to 30x Super Zoom.
Google has also added HiLight to the Fold.
The folding design enables several features that are harder to reproduce on a conventional phone. One example is real-time sign-to-text translation, which can use one display for the person signing and the other to show translated text.
Other large-screen features include Split Screen, Drag and Drop, app bubbles and multitasking tools.
